I went to IKEA to get the 50 cents dog bowl today. I was about to pay for my items when I realised I forgot to bring my wallet (arrgghh....of all things!). So I asked the cashier if she could hold the items for me and that I will come back to pay for them 1 hour later (I don't want to lose the cactus I've already chosen). She was real nice, did not make a fuss and agreed. She even told me to look for the cashier next to her if she is not around.
True to her words, she kept my items for me until I returned. And I couldn't stop thanking her. I even took a feedback form to comment on the excellent service that she provided. I hope that IKEA rewards those staff who received good feedback (for I know Popular does that). Keep up with the great service, IKEA!
