It's Cabaret!

Hee...this day has finally arrived! I was pretty excited for the musical since morning.
Such a fine day today and I spent it with my mum. We left the house earlier to have our lunch before the matinee show. Went to the newly expanded/renovated Raffles Marketplace for lunch. Yupe, like what the newspaper article said, you'll get frustrated finding your way there if you're in a hurry.
About Cabaret the musical. From the title, you can tell that therewould be some sexual innuendos not meant for kids 15 and below. The music is great! And it was hilarious. Fei Xiang acted as the emcee. He appears between scenes to give a prelude to what is going to happen. His role? Comical! Joker! You'll see a Fei Xiang you've never seen before. For example, Fei Xiang in a tutu. Ehh...it's seriously different to imagine him not acting his age. I mean, you know.... Anyway, great singing from him. And I was sitting so close I got a clear view of everyone on stage. His eyes are so gorgeous...
As usual, Emma Yong rocks the house down. Small and petite but packed with a wonderful voice! I'm always so overwhelmed with the voice everytime I go to her performance. And then there's another leading male actor, Jason Chan. Aiyo! He is so good looking in person! (I'm very sure coz I sit in the front, remember?) I was flipping through the programme before the show and practically gave his bio a miss. Yupe, He's not photogenic. During the intermission, mum and I turned to each other to make the comment on the actor. Haha.
Really enjoyed myself today! I love musicals! Yeah!
