Past vs Present

Was chatting with my fren last night about how ugly we all looked in the past. Hmm...the time between secondary school and poly days. Haiya...we were cute in primary school so can't be considered as ugly.
Anyway, I was suddenly thinking, isn't it great that we actually think so? I mean about how ugly we looked. It means that we have made improvements in our lives. Physically and perhaps spiritually too. And we are not looking at old photos and say "I wish I look like before". Then that would be terrible!
