Difficult customers
Sunday, October 09, 2005 @ 3:57 PM
We will always encounter difficult customers in the retail line. Some weird and funny ones too.
Customer #1: Came in to look for a CD. She wasn't sure what the title was (gave us partof the title only), she doesn't know who the singer was (only that it's a male singer), she couldn't describe how he looks like, she couldn't remember how the song goes and she expects us to help her out. !!! FYI, we are not walking music library/database. With so little information, I doubt even a music database can help.
Customer #2: A regular customer who is a BIG BIG fan of Jacky Cheung always comes into our shop to demand that we sell him the Jacky Cheung Snow.Wolf.Lake poster. NONONO! We do not sell posters! NONONO! The poster we put up is not for sale! He even offered $100 for it! Anyway, I would usually freak out and pretend to look REALLY busy when I see him. I feel like a voice recording machine that keeps repeating, "No, it's not for sale, it's not for sale."
Customer #3: This happens quite a lot of times. There are people who are simply rude! I'm serving another customer so STOP INTERRUPTING!!! Can't you see that we are having a conversation? It's extremely rude to interrupt. The other customer will be irritated too. I will tend to you when I'm done with the first customer. So please be patient. I'm really disgusted with some bad behaviours some customers display. These people really need to read Miss Manner's Book of Manners. *Sigh*
There's more but can't remember them at the moment.
