It's been a long time...
Wednesday, September 21, 2005 @ 11:37 PM
since I blog...Haa, was suppose to hv plenty of time to blog during my 3 months holidays. Well...
Did many things for the past 3 months. Went to catch those art festival's performances, the 12 girls' band concert (free tickets), then juz a week ago.....QUIDAM!!! You know, cirque du soliel. It was absolutely spectacular, a truly different experience. Very bohemian. The props for scene 1 are actually attached to strings extended from above. When they move to the next scene, those props are lifted into the air and down some pulley to backstage. Wat a great idea! I love the diabolos and the aerial contortion in silk! The clowns made me laugh so badly till I teared. And those two who are acting as statue!! Wow...all muscles, no fats! As for the music, I somehow prefer Alegria. All in all, it was a wonderful experience.
the stage...after the show, quickly sneak my cam out to snap it. Hee...
Ohh...got 1 complaints though. Don't understand why parents bring really young kids there to catch it. They won't know how to appreciate it! Cirque du soliel is different from the usual circus with animals! There was this little girl sitting behind me who kept asking her mom, "Where's that packet of sweet? I want that packet. Not this one." She went on and on for like 8 mins! She wasn't even watching....haiz
I was working at a CD shop during the holidays too. Oh yes! I found a job. Pay not that great, but it's kinda near my place. Moreover, it's fun! I get to be the DJ at times. Listen to music and all. But...meet some funny or rather nuisance customers, lotsa stories.
FYI, I didn't lose the 5 kg. Stand around all day still can't lose weight, I simply don't get it! Nvm, I'm back on the track again.
Btw...looking forward to catch STOMP with my cousin soon.
